Jamie is a member of Standard Chartered’s Real Estate Industries Team, which specializes in providing Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking services to the leading real estate companies and investors across Africa and Middle East. Standard Chartered is a leading international banking group, with more than 80,000 employees and a 150-year history in some of the world’s most dynamic markets. Based in Dubai since 1958, Dubai serves as the Bank’s regional hub for Africa and Middle East.

As part of the real estate team, Jamie has experience in structuring and executing large scale lending transactions and providing advisory services to some of Dubai’s best-in-class hospitality companies and iconic hotels. Jamie has a keen interest in the prevailing hospitality market trends on the back of the COVID-19, and how operators / owners are positioning themselves for success in a ‘post-COVID’ environment.

Born in South Africa, Jamie went on to study Finance and Accounting at Boston University in the United States before joining Standard Chartered in 2017. Jamie’s interests outside of real estate finance include a wide variety of sports, including previously representing South Africa’s national rowing team, and is also two-time finisher of the Dubai Marathon.
