My name is Anja, I am 24 years old, and I am in my final phase of my Bachelor studies at Hotelschool The Hague. While in highschool I started working in an Italian restaurant as I always loved being around and getting to know new people. Therefore, hospitality has always been a passion of mine. During my apprenticeship at a five-star superior property in Germany I was able to deepen my understanding for the industry.

I enjoy mapping future scenarios based on the analysis of current societal developments. Thinking about our future, I am sure we need to question the way we are currently doing business. I always dreamed about making a difference and initiating change. Hence, participating in the sustainable hospitality challenge was a natural fit as it combined my passion for the hospitality industry and the desire to navigate the future while having a positive impact in the world.
