Dr. Abbas Gullet

Dr. Abbas Gullet is the Chief Executive Officer of Boma Panafrican Ltd, incorporated in October 2019. Prior to that, Dr. Gullet was the Secretary General of the Kenya Red Cross Society from May 2005 – December 2019. He is also the founder and Chairman of the Boma Groups of hotels in Nairobi, Eldoret and Nyeri which are fully owned by the Kenya Red Cross Society. Under his leadership, the Kenya Red Cross Society founded the Emergency Medical Services (E PLUS) which has over 128 Ambulances - the largest fleet of Critical Care Ambulances in Kenya and Sub-Sahara Africa.

Dr. Gullet also founded Boma International Hospitality College (BIHC) in partnership with Business & Hotel Management School (BHMS) – Switzerland, and in October 2018 Kenya Red Cross under his leadership established a TV station named Switch TV.

Dr. Gullet also helped established the NEPARC (New Partnership of African Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies) in Johannesburg - South Africa, a partnership aimed at African National Societies taking responsibility for their own developments.
