Jay Rosen is Chief Financial Officer for The Red Sea Development Company and AMAALA, where oversees finance, investment, and asset management for two new international luxury tourism destination set along the Red Sea as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He is responsible for driving long- term strategic value by planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and investment related activities of both companies.

Over the course of his career, he has participated in over $15.0 billion in real estate investments including large, integrated resort developments, single asset and portfolio acquisitions, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Jay has extensive experience in hospitality and mixed-use assets in addition to residential, retail, gaming, and office investments in North America, the Caribbean, and Middle East.

Prior to joining The Red Sea Development Company and AMAALA, Jay headed his own investment and advisory firm, JRO Capital Advisors, LLC, where he provided investment and advisory services to the real estate and hospitality industry including strategic, development, operational, and transactional services.

Before establishing JRO Capital Advisors, LLC, Jay represented a HNW family office and was a member of a small executive team involved in creating, planning, financing, and developing a $3.5 billion destination resort development in The Bahamas called Baha Mar. The development included over 3,500 hotel rooms, 100,000 sq ft casino, an array of amenities and resort activities, commercial office and retail space, and a mix of residential offerings. At Baha Mar, Jay served as SVP Strategic Planning, Finance, and Development and was focused on business development and strategic transactions including sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing Baha Mar’s financing, hotel and casino partnerships, and other key partner and stakeholder agreements.

Earlier in his career, Jay was a member of the investment teams at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts where he focused on acquisitions, development, and asset management.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where he concentrated on real estate finance.
