Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Fei, a 22-year-old student in her final year of the Hotel Management School Maastricht. After almost 4 years of hotel school with an internship at the front office in Kuala Lumpur, I am still very enthusiastic about working in the hotel industry. My goal is to always stay curious, be eager to learn, and not be afraid to go the extra mile. That is why I participated in the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge. When I started this challenge, little did I know that it would be such an exciting journey. I have had the opportunity to gain many new insights that I will cherish for the rest of my career.

Along the way, we had the honour to meet interesting people who have helped us shaping our concept ‘The Waterproof building’. It does not only address the problem of water scarcity that the world is currently facing, but also fits the purpose economy refreshingly. Together with three amazing partnerships, we have been able to boost our concept to the next level and created a building that is ready for the future of 2050!
