Dirk has over 30 years experience in hotel operational consulting. He started his hospitality career with a focus on database management & customer loyalty programs as well as hotel reservation systems in the global market. Dirk is a specialist in strategic management and M&A projects. Clarity in vision and strategy, leading to tangible results, focussed on cross border assignments, leveraging extensive entrepreneurial expertise in Europe, the Middle East, India, Brazil and Russia. Dirk has expertise in fields such as multi country assignments, strategic marketing, International Business Development, International Private Public Initiatives, hospitality consultancy focussed on corporate finance assignments in the capital markets. Dirk became a partner at Colliers in the Netherlands in 2010, where he incorporated the hotel division for Colliers. Dirk was responsible for the growth of the Colliers EMEA hotels team which he has been leading since 2012. Since September 2017 Dirk is also the Chief Executive Officer for Colliers in the Netherlands leading 330 dedicated Real Estate professionals spread over 4 offices.
